Dr. Victoria Winfield


Dr. Victoria Winfield’s upbeat attitude and approachability served her well while attending Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine where she excelled in the rigorous small animal program. At Kansas State University, Dr. Winfield earned certificates of appreciation for her dedication to her patients and clients. Her strong communication skills and surgical prowess earned her an excellent reputation as an outstanding small animal veterinarian. Dr. Winfield enjoys spending time with her family and traveling in her free time. Dr. Winfield has two Labradors named Livvie and Riesling, along with guinea pigs, chickens, and a duck named Georgia. Her family recently adopted a much anticipated French Bulldog named Pickles!

Dr. Kayla Conroy


Dr. Kayla Conroy acquired her small-town hospitality from being born and raised in the community of Wayne, Nebraska. She excelled in the small animal program at Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine has been an outstanding asset to our hospital team since graduating in May of 2014. In addition to her love of small animal surgery and medicine, Dr. Conroy has an interest in ophthalmology and physical therapy. Dr. Conroy’s professionalism and patience make her an exceptionally compassionate veterinarian. In her time off, Dr. Conroy is busy chasing her 2 sons, Christian and Archer, while attending sporting events to support her husband, Kyle, who is a head football and track coach. If she has free time, Dr. Conroy enjoys puzzles, reading, and being outdoors.

Dr. Hallie Olson


Dr. Hallie Olson graduated from Colorado State University in 2008 with the intent to work on beef cattle only, however, she found that she loves challenging cases that working with dogs and cats allows. Her special interests are surgery and ultrasound. In her free time, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter working on their farm and ranch, reading mystery novels, and riding horses. Dr. Olson has two dogs named Ginger and Josie, one very spoiled house cat named Gracie, along with numerous barn cats, horses, and cattle.

Dr. Audrey Christensen


Dr. Audrey Christensen grew up on a farm near David City, Nebraska, where she developed a love of learning and was fascinated by biology and zoology. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska, she attended Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated Magna cum Laude in May of 2015. As a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Christensen enjoys observing and enhancing the bond pet owners share with their critters. She also has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. In her free time, Dr. Christensen loves to travel and spend time with her family. Dr. Christensen has a Doberman named Bourbon, a german shorthair named Korbin, a German Wirehair named Oats, and numerous cattle on her and her husband’s farm.


Practice Manager/Licensed Veterinary Technician

Alyssa brings to Companion’s Choice several years of service to the veterinary medical community and is a licensed veterinary technician. She excels at problem-solving and works hard to ensure clients have the best experience possible at our hospital. Building great team relationships is one of her strongest personality traits. Alyssa’s favorite part about veterinary medicine is surgeries and emergencies but she thoroughly enjoys building a relationship with pets and owners during their visits to Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital. Alyssa enjoys camping, fishing, working on the family farm, and spending time with her husband and children. Alyssa has a pointer named Hank, a mini Australian Shepherd named Roxy, an indoor cat named Fred, and several farm cats.

Sadie A.

Head Customer Service Representative

Sadie A joined the Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital technical staff team as an assistant in the summer of 2019. Sadie A’s smile and compassionate personality make her a favorite among staff and clients. Sadie A is extremely versatile within the clinic. She excels at her duties as an assistant, but also with customer service on the phone and at the front desk. Sadie A’s favorite aspect of the job is that she is constantly learning new things. Whether it is under the microscope, new/rare diseases, or learning how to collect samples for lab work, Sadie A enjoys learning about veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys baking and spending time with her children. Sadie A has a Great Pyrenees named Muzzy.


Licensed Veterinary Technician

Laura has been with Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital since receiving her degree and license in veterinary technology in 2013. As a seasoned licensed veterinary technician, she knows every aspect of the job inside and out. Her favorite part about her job is patient care, especially the neonatal and geriatric patients. She loves when a patient gets to go home healthy after coming to us with an illness or injury and she is an amazing foster mom each spring to multiple kittens that are brought to us by local shelters. Laura is a big feline fan and loves providing “catification” to all of our feline patients during their stay. In her free time, Laura loves traveling, camping, and scuba diving. Laura has two cats named Edna and Faith, and two dogs named Kiwi and Buddy.


Licensed Veterinary Technician

Danielle (D) joined our team in March of 2017. Her pleasant nature and constant smile put our patients and clients at ease, and her genuine thoughtfulness and caring are displayed in everything she does. She also adds to the fun and enjoyable atmosphere here just by being herself. Dee is a seasoned technician who brings her knowledge and experience to Companion’s Choice for the benefit of you and your kids with fur! In her free time, D enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé. They have a Rottweiler named Cajun.

Sam G.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Sam G started in the Spring of 2020 as a veterinary technician intern. She has since become a licensed veterinary technician. Since her internship, we have watched her skills and confidence level soar as she has become an extremely caring, attentive, and talented LVT. In her free time, Sam enjoys playing fetch with her cat and spending time on the farm. Her dream vacation would be to Australia.


Veterinary Technician Intern

Terrin joined the Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital team as a technician intern just this summer! She is currently attending the online Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program. Terrin enjoys anything outdoors, photography, Husker football, golf, and Halloween. Terrin also enjoys spending time with her two dogs; Dali, a yellow lab, and Remi, a golden retriever.


Veterinary Assistant

Megan was added to the Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital team as a veterinary assistant in the summer of 2019. She was an immediate asset to the team with her positive attitude and compassion for each and every patient. She very quickly picked up on the tasks assigned to our assistants and instantly started broadening her veterinary knowledge and skills. Megan’s favorite part about working at CCAH is the constant learning of new skills and she also has a special interest in pocket pets. Megan plans to pursue a degree and license in veterinary technology. Megan loves being outdoors camping, fishing, or hunting. She also enjoys painting in her free time. Megan has a chihuahua named Elvis and an Australian Shepherd named Wrigley.


Kennel Caregiver

When Sidney joined our boarding kennel team, she was instantly one of us! Her smile and upbeat personality are wonderful to have around. Sidney is a fast learner and loves to get to know each one of the pets while they are boarding with us. When not working or studying, Sidney enjoys spending time with her Labrador named Trigger, and cats Calli & Riley.


Kennel Caregiver

We were excited to have Dalton join the Companion’s Choice team in the winter of 2019. Dalton is very dedicated to caring for each animal during their stay at the clinic. He is quick to ensure they are as comfortable as possible and have everything they may need or want while boarding. Dalton enjoys listening to music, reading, and going camping in his free time.


Veterinary Assistant

Kaylee started with us on our very first day at the new building! Kaylee does a great job helping anywhere that she can and is picking up on things quickly. It won’t be long and she will be starting rooms for the doctors all on her own! The staff have really enjoyed adding her to the team!
