Dr. Hallie Olson
Veterinarian
Dr. Hallie Olson graduated from Colorado State University in 2008 with the intent to work on beef cattle only, however, she found that she loves challenging cases that working with dogs and cats allows. Her special interests are surgery and ultrasound. In her free time, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter working on their farm and ranch, reading mystery novels, and riding horses. Dr. Olson has two dogs named Ginger and Josie, one very spoiled house cat named Gracie, along with numerous barn cats, horses, and cattle.

Dr. Audrey Christensen grew up on a farm near David City, Nebraska, where she developed a love of learning and was fascinated by biology and zoology. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska, she attended Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated Magna cum Laude in May of 2015. As a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Christensen enjoys observing and enhancing the bond pet owners share with their critters. She also has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. In her free time, Dr. Christensen loves to travel and spend time with her family. Dr. Christensen has a Doberman named Bourbon, a german shorthair named Korbin, a German Wirehair named Oats, and numerous cattle on her and her husband’s farm.

Alyssa brings to Companion’s Choice several years of service to the veterinary medical community and is a licensed veterinary technician. She excels at problem-solving and works hard to ensure clients have the best experience possible at our hospital. Building great team relationships is one of her strongest personality traits. Alyssa’s favorite part about veterinary medicine is surgeries and emergencies but she thoroughly enjoys building a relationship with pets and owners during their visits to Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital. Alyssa enjoys camping, fishing, working on the family farm, and spending time with her husband and children. Alyssa has a pointer named Hank, a mini Australian Shepherd named Roxy, an indoor cat named Fred, and several farm cats.

Laura has been with Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital since receiving her degree and license in veterinary technology in 2013. As a seasoned licensed veterinary technician, she knows every aspect of the job inside and out. Her favorite part about her job is patient care, especially the neonatal and geriatric patients. She loves when a patient gets to go home healthy after coming to us with an illness or injury and she is an amazing foster mom each spring to multiple kittens that are brought to us by local shelters. Laura is a big feline fan and loves providing “catification” to all of our feline patients during their stay. In her free time, Laura loves traveling, camping, and scuba diving. Laura has two cats named Edna and Faith, and two dogs named Kiwi and Buddy.

She also adds to the fun and enjoyable atmosphere here just by being herself. Dee is a seasoned technician who brings her knowledge and experience to Companion’s Choice for the benefit of you and your kids with fur! In her free time, D enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors with her fiancé. They have a Rottweiler named Cajun.

Megan was added to the Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital team as a veterinary assistant in the summer of 2019. She was an immediate asset to the team with her positive attitude and compassion for each and every patient. She very quickly picked up on the tasks assigned to our assistants and instantly started broadening her veterinary knowledge and skills. Megan’s favorite part about working at CCAH is the constant learning of new skills and she also has a special interest in pocket pets. Megan plans to pursue a degree and license in veterinary technology. Megan loves being outdoors camping, fishing, or hunting. She also enjoys painting in her free time. Megan has a chihuahua named Elvis and an Australian Shepherd named Wrigley.

We were excited to have Dalton join the Companion’s Choice team in the winter of 2019. Dalton is very dedicated to caring for each animal during their stay at the clinic. He is quick to ensure they are as comfortable as possible and have everything they may need or want while boarding. Dalton enjoys listening to music, reading, and going camping in his free time.
